I have positive expectations for a relationship that helps you to create the life YOU want to live. To partner together professionally, I want you to be familiar with the following guidelines.
I invite you to think of this as a process. Many people create change for themselves in a short time. However, to refine and sustain the change takes several months. Although not binding, I would ask that you expect our relationship to last at least three months.
I am a board certified coach trained by the Institute for Life Coach Training (https://www.lifecoachtraining.com//) which is accredited by the Center for Credentialing and Education (https://www.cce-global.org) and the International Coaching Federation (https://coachingfederation.org). Additionally, I am an ordained minister endorsed for chaplaincy by American Baptist Churches, USA, a Board-Certified Chaplain (Association of Professional Chaplains https://www.professionalchaplains.org ), and a certified spiritual director (Global Benedictine Spiritual Direction https://benethillmonastery.org/your-spiritual-journey/spiritual-director-training/) I have a PhD in psychology and previously worked as a therapist with families with adjudicated child abuse. I am not a licensed psychologist. I do not diagnose or treat mental illness. I adhere to the codes of ethics of my denomination and all the organizations through which I am credentialed.

Meetings are generally an hour long.
Barring a critical emergency, please give me at least a 24-hour notice of any changes to our scheduling. No shows are charged the full rate.
If I ever say or do anything that upsets you or doesn't feel right (and I most likely will), please bring it to my attention so that we can resolve it as soon as possible. My objective is to have a coaching relationship that is fully open, honest, real and trusting in our communication styles.
We should both realize that communication always involves challenges, so we give each other plenty of latitude, and promptly ask for clarification if there is a mis-connection.
My services are not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business, or other qualified professionals. Please seek independent professional guidance for legal, medical, financial, business, psychological, or other matters. I do not provide psychotherapy. Everything you share is strictly confidential, except with your permission or as required by law.
By booking a session, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the above.
